At the end of last year we were invited to Cartier’s main factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds for a preview of Cartier’s first concept watch. The technology that was unveiled was astonishing, and if Cartier succeeds in its plans to transfer much of this technology into some of its production models within three years – as it plans to – then it will create something of a revolution in the watchmaking world.
