Panerai – Honouring the die-hard fansYou like Panerai? A lot? Then you must have heard of a website called Paneristi.com. The most popular place to be if the Italian watch brand has your attention. This is not only a dedicated website, it is an International community. A community that started in 2000 when Scotsman Guy Verbist wanted to use his IT-skills to something different than accounting. He also liked watches, Panerai especially, and pronto: www.paneristi.com was born!

Today the website has thousands of daily followers, this of course acknowledged by the administration of the brand, not least Panerai CEO Angelo Bonati.

Honouring the popular website's tenth anniversary, Panerai decided to launch a limited black DLC Luminor with tinted hourmarkers and hands, making it look like one of the early 1990s models, from before Vendome/Richemont took over the dying company. This watch, PAM360, is fitted with a screw-in caseback without spahhire back. This makes room for an anniversary inscripton.

This is however not the first time, Panerai deciedes to honour the popular website. In 2003 Panerai released 200 collectors pieces with each collectors name on the back, the legendary PAM195

The watch is powered by a simple non-COSC Unitas manual movement, however the watch does not come cheap because of that! Price is quoted to approx EURO 5500 plus local VAT.

No future lucky pwners have been announced yet and the decision who gets one is made by the Paneristi.com moderators and mr. Angelo Bonati himself.
