Four persons from China have been arrested last week, by the Italian carabinieri in Prato (Tuscany) of all places. The gang was engaged in assembling fake watches, of brands like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Omega and Rolex, Breitling, but also Dolce e Gabbana.
The watches were imported from China in small parcels and were without any markings to prevent detection. The final finishing was done in Prato. No less than 800,000 fake watches were seized by the Italian police.
