Concepto Watch Factory SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds is a young company. It was started in 2006 by Valérien Jaquet, the son of none other than Jean-Pierre Jaquet, who was owner of Jaquet SA (also in La Chaux-de-Fonds, now renamed La Joux-Perret) but became notorious for his role in series of crimes that rocked the Swiss watch world some years ago.

Jean-Pierre Jaquet is now adviser and consultant for Concepto. Concepto started with a workforce of four, but has grown fast and now has around a hundred employees. In 2008 Concepto surprised the watch world with its tourbillon calibre, which soon found several customers in the haute de gamme segment of the watch market.

The mainstay of Concepto is its C2000 range of chronograph calibres, which are finished and decorated as requested by the customer.  Now the firm has presented a new series of automatic chronograph movements, C3010 - C3014, based on the successful C2000 series. The new movements are equipped with different complications, like a retrograde quantième, a GMT or a power reserve indication.

With the new movements Concepto Watch Factory SA takes a further step in its steady expansion, an innovative firm  to be reckoned with.
