With a total of 239 points out of 300, A. Lange & Söhne, the watch manufactory from Glashütte in Saxony, for the third time in a row (after 2007 and 2009) comes out as Germany’s top luxury brand, before automobile manufacturers Maybach (211 points) and Porsche (195 points). The luxury table is drawn up every two years by Brand Rating, a Munich based agency, at the request of the magazine Wirtschaftswoche.
The decisive role in the overall score is played by the category “Brand appeal” and it was the highest score in this category that greatly contributed to Lange’s first place.
