2012-01-26_technomarine-1The SIHH is just finished (in our upcoming issue you will find a huge SIHH special) and we’re already looking forward to BaselWorld 2012, that will take place from 8 till 15 March. One of the first pre-Basel novelties that needs to be in the spotlights (or not, because the watch likes darkness…) is the TechnoMarine Night Vision: a watch with a high Superluminova-level.

A monochromatic black-on-black design keeps the wearer under-the-radar during daylight hours, but when darkness falls, the watch face in bold pops of color. Telling the time has never been easier thanks to the striking contrast of vibrant and glowing indexes against the canvas of a midnight-hued dial. Elsewhere on the watch, discreet splashes of color — along the side of the bezel and on the inner layer of the strap — are visible only to those that are in-the-know.

The 45 mm case is made of black PVD coated stainless steel, the same material that is used for the rotating unidirectional bezel. The black dial, colored with Superluminova indexes, shows you the hours, minutes, seconds, 24 hours, date and a chronograph thanks to a quartz movement. The watch, with a silicone strap, is water resistant to 200 meters.
