The jury (10 well-known Dutch watch specialists, watch makers and watch enthusiasts) decided to select winners in 7 categories (men’s watches in 4 price segments, women’s watches, innovation and one special award of the jury); the eighth award was the Reader’s Award.
This was the first time readers of the magazine could cast their vote and almost 7.000 of them actually did, using the specially developed voting tool on the website.

Jury report: "Ball Watch impressed the jury with its Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime. An automatic watch with world time indication, water resistant to 300 meters and with a well designed sturdy case. A good watch for a fair price."

3.000 to 10.000 euro
Jury report: "French watch brand Pequignet presented the only watch in this category with a proprietary movement (only 5,88 mm high). The jury liked the classic design and the high quality of the watch. "

Jury report: "This was the most difficult category because the differences between the entries were colossal. The winner is Bovet’s Fleurier Tourbillon Ottanta, a special watch dedicated to 80 years of design studio Pininfarina. It is simply marvelous, both technological and esthetically. "
