Jan des Bouvrie [video] After secondary school Jan followed the Rietveld Academie, the well known Dutch university of applied sciences for Fine Arts and Design. Now he owns his own design centre Het Arsenaal in Naarden. Des Bouvrie also works for Princess (household appliances), Gelderland (furniture factory) and Gamma (building materials). His distinctive designs vary from lighting, wallpaper, blinds, outdoor furniture to complete houses. Also being a professor, he works for several design academies. On the 21st of September 2008 Des Bouvrie has been granted a Glamour Award in the design category for his collected work. |

Roberto Meyer [video] Co-founder of architectural company Meyer en Van Schouten (1984). In his fine architectonic work shapes, techniques, constructions and spacial structures play an important role. Prices he won: the Prix de Rome in 1990, the Woningbouw Kwaliteitsprijs Rotterdam in 1999, the Merckelbachprijs in 2000 and the Nationale Staalprijs in 2002 for his distinctively designed head office of ING Group, the Nederlandse Bouwprijs, the Nederlandse Aluminium Award Architecture, the European Award for Steelstructures and was nominated for the Mies van der Roge Award. |

Mark van Nieuwkerk [video] Mark van Nieuwkerk (43) is CEO of Schaap en Citroen Juweliers, one of the leading jewelers in the Netherlands (nine subsidiaries). Mark joined Schaap en Citroen two and a half years ago after his seven year participation in the management board of travel organization TUI, where he worked for seven years. The world of jewelry is not new to Mark: in the past he was the purchase manager for Lucardi, Siebel and Schaap en Citroen. Ed Nijpels [video] Ed Nijpels studied Law at the Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht. On the age of 18, he joined the Dutch liberal party VVD. His professional career is very broad: teacher in Roosendaal, councellor in Bergen op Zoom, Member of Parliament, leader of the liberal party VVD, minister of VROM, mayor of the city Breda, ´Commissaris van de Koningin´ in Friesland and at the same time he had and still has a wide range of additional positions. |

Huub Stapel [video] He was born in Tegelen and became a famous Dutch actor. He is best known for his roles in De Lift (1983), Flodder (1986) and Amsterdamned (1988). He also appeared in several German Detectives and presented several Dutch television programs. Before he became an actor , he worked as a drama teacher. He recently played in the theatre: Mannen komen van Mars , Vrouwen van Venus (2010), Iep (2010) and Terug naar de kust (2009). He married on his 50th birthday with Resi and lives with their two sons in Amsterdam. |

Andrea van Steijn [video] Since 2001 Andrea van Steijn (34) has been working as a watch maker at Steltman Watches in The Hague. At Steltman she is also responsible for public relations and watch related events. Before she joined Steltman she worked at Schaap en Citroen for two years. She has learned her skills at the “Vakschool Edelsmeden en Uurtechniek” and followed courses at Rolex, Breguet and Blancpain. Besides watches of these brands she is also certified for repairing Chopard, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Baume & Mercier watches. Her favorite watch brand is A. Lange & Söhne.
